So I’ve always wanted an Oppo sticker for my car, but I’m not too crazy about putting actual vinyl on the outside. I thought I’d look into getting a static cling sticker made and they arrived today.
They’re meant for inside the glass, and while I technically did remember I have tinted windows, the contrast between the white paper and the actual glass is pretty glaring.

Looks great, right? But then from the outside...
Oops. I guess I’ll look into an Oppo license plate frame.
In an unrelated note, does anyone want a static cling vinyl Oppo sticker for the inside of your car? It should work well clear glass and now I have 3 I can’t really use.

I might try that next, autocross number style. In fact, I had numbers up there a few weeks ago and it was legible from up close, which should work fine.

Why not? Scrape it (and the glue residue) off of the glass with a razor blade and a little glass cleaner, or even water.
Even if you don’t have a razor handy, it’s small enough that you could pick it off with your fingers. Goo Gone could then take car of any glue.

I got the inside vinyl version, no sun fade, no wankers pulling them off.. and no accidentally hitting them with the ice scrapper. You have to have no tint though.

Where’d you get the static cling sticker! I’ve wanted one for my car to replace the Alma Mater sticker I’m sick of.

I got my university one in a cling on for the inside. I have tint and it worked fine. I think it has to be a lighter color.

I had it made custom by bannerbuzz.ca. They’re based out of Toronto but apparently the stickers are shipped from India.
